The Public Prosecution Service of Canada (PPSC) is responsible for administering the National Fine Recovery Program (NFRP) under the terms of an assignment issued by the Attorney General of Canada in September 2007. Its mandate is to enforce sentences by recovering outstanding court-ordered fines levied against individuals and companies convicted under federal statutes.

As a result, the PPSC is seeking to establish provincial pools of proficient private-sector lawyers with significant experience in civil debt recovery, to act as ad hoc agents.

Applications will be kept for a period of one (1) year; qualified candidates will be contacted when an opportunity arises. They may be asked to complete a written exam or attend an interview to fully evaluate their qualifications.
